Possible HDD Incompatibility

I too have the samw type of problem with ps2 and opl V8. I recently added a couple of ps2 games into the 160 gb seagate and now when I boot OPL it just stalls and then freezes. I even deleted a few games. The weird thing is HDloader works and boots my games off the internal Hard drive and is playable. OPL use to work and I tired different version, but nothing helps. I can't even get to main screen where it list my games. the booting circle just freezes. I have the phat ps2 v6

If you had that set to auto start SMB but don't have it connected now that will cause freezing in all but the most recent build
one way to fix is reconnect to SMB turn off auto start
another is to delete settings with uLE in OPL folder
and another is to try the most recent that is available here (R629 Configurable timer delay, fix for Shadow Heart 2 and other games)
