I'm wondering if it might be possible to trim the size of the codebreaker.elf file even further by removing the default code lists. Are there any docs out there that explain the contents of this file, and the possible modifications you can make to it?
The code lists are stored in an external file on the memory card, and the codebreaker.elf file itself takes up almost have a memory card. I don't know very much about programming or patching myself, otherwise, this would be a fairly simple endeavor.

Yeah, I remember that some one did manage to remove the internal database, although I can't remember where it's at. some extensive searching can uncover it though.

bfoos was the one. You can find more info about it on www.codemasters-project.net
You can just add only the codes you want and save lots of space.
