Outrun 2 SP: No music?

I've recently been playing Outrun 2 SP (JPN) but I simply cannot get the music to work under OPL 0.91 (rev641). Has anyone else come across this problem or a fix? Im using FMCB 1.8b and an SCPH-3000x (PAL) model with network adapter and 300GB internal IDE drive.

The image is clean (checks fine on redump). I'll try the noVMC version of OPL but if anyone has any ideas or pointers, it would be appreciated.

Fixed using Mode 2 + MDMA0 (noVLC). Same version and revision as before.
