OPL's network connection does not work! Help, please!
OPL's network connection does not work! Help, please! –
I do not know if I'm in the right place of the forum, but as an English-language forum, I do not quite understand.
I hope not cause problems and if happen to be wrong, I apologize in advance already.
I have a slim ps2 90006 with Free MCBoot, installed 1.8, 0.8 and SMS OPL.
My PS2 is connected to the PC by the ULE and SMS often. By SMS I can watch movies and listen to music over the network using PS2Client and can not connect through FileZilla also to exchange files over the network. But I can not in any way connection with the "OPL". Even though everything set up "properly" I can not make my PS2 to communicate with the PC.
There are days I am searching in different forums and nothing. Qa seems only person to have this kind of problem is me.
Would anyone help me?
My chip is a Matrix 1.93.
Ps2 ip 192.168.0.10
PC ip 192.168.0.2
PS2SMB shared folder on E: / PS2SMB
Share OPL PS2SMB
If anyone can help me I will be very grateful.
If you connect your PS2 and PC over a router then your settings are OK.
If you connect your PS2 directly with PC then your "Gateway" in PS2 must be 192.168.0.2 (for your settings)
Have you set in "OPL -> settings -> ETH device start mode" to "AUTO" ??
If you use .iso´s then you must make folders in your share (PS2SMB)
So your structur must be.....
E:\PS2SMB\ -- for USBUtils/USBExtreme-games (*.ul)
E:\PS2SMB\ART -- for Game-Covers
E:\PS2SMB\CD -- for .iso-games till 700MB
E:\PS2SMB\DVD -- for .iso-games over 700MB
E:\PS2SMB\VMC -- for your Virtual Memory Card
And at last try to disable your chip (in matrix i think it´s.... shut off PS2, press and hold on trigger "START"-button and then turn PS2 on".....
Thank you for having responded to my post.
Actually I use a crossover cable and is connected directly to my network card.
Q The only thing I still did not do was disable the chip matrix, what I'm doing now and try again.
Thank you again.
