OPL Transfer Modes
OPL Transfer Modes –

Hi,
I am preparing to setup OPL for when my FMCB Memory Card arrives back to me. My PS2 is a slim 70003 (PAL), and I can either use SMB (with crossover cable) or USB Drive .. I have read on these forums that FMVs skipping on some games is quite common, so my question is :
Which would be the fastest way to play backups, using OPL, SMB or USB drive. If SMB, would USBUtil converted games be any different (in running speeds) to regular ISOs in a DVD folder ?
Thanks in advance for any answers provided

SMB mode is always faster so less skipping in FMV's so if you want faster loading and better movies then use SMB.

V10 SCPH-50001 with Network adapter SCPH-10281 500 G HD
PSP 3000 9G 6.20 PRO CFW Perm
Unofficial FMCB v1.8C OPL self compiled HD and SMB preferred
Is how all good gaming systems came to be

Thanks for the reply, mate .. :>
What about a backup DVD (prsuming laser is running optimally), is that faster than SMB, or is SMB faster than backup Discs ?
