What do you need as feedback it looks good man :D
Maybe it works like a charm...?
;)
Yep works great just replaced my old with yours and presto nice new look
Seconded... Looks better than the stock image.
Nice!
I have plan to trying new 0.9 and think about icon. Big surprise. :) And of course thanks.
It seems to me texture have to low resolution (well, I think it's to small because of (smoothed) pixalete artefacts I see.). I don't know details about PS2 icon format and it's limitations but I hear you must fit it in certain size. Am I correct? And this is the reason why tex is so small? Just curious.
BTW: I didn't try it on PS2 yet, so maybe it only looks like this only on preview which you attached.

If you agree we can make a some others icons for other apps. Yes, I know there are at least two icon "generators" on PC but all of them make rectangles.
Have PS2 support normal maps (or I should ask: ps2 icon format)? I see some similar effect on metal surface in several games like i.e Jak & Daxter.
We have 6 sides:
Left, right, up and down. Back and front.
All have their sizes AND have to fit in a texture of 128x128 pixels!
That's the game.
Rgds.
UPDATE:
Sorry, i was busy.
Yes, we could make some icons for other apps.
I love your graphx and your style.
And the icon generators suxx.
First the graphx, then the 3d model and finally an icon...
:D
The ps2 icons support only normal mapping.
All effects come from the maps and the icon parameters.
One of the best original ps2 icon is from crazy taxi.
Take a look at it!
While prototyping and testing i made 2 icons for argon (shame on the author for not freeing the sources):
