    Moreover ... are you sure the debug color is "yellow", and not "orange" ?

    http://psx-scene.com/forums/f150/ope...-colors-64354/ (Open PS2 Loader Project - Debug Colors)

    I'm more than sure you checked IOPR patch ... !

    orange: After LoadIRXfromKernel
    maroon: After opening IOPRP path
    If OPL doesn't goes to maroon, it s because with the original ISO it fails to load the IOPRP

    He knows that, USBUtil cant patch the ISO, but it can patch thre ul format when its installed.

    So if your ISO didnt get past the Orange screen and the ul format did, then its because the ul format got IOPRP patched by USBUtil. Thats what he is saying.

    So the question now is, did the new ISO you made with opl2iso work?

    Thats what we are trying to find out and is why i asked you to make an ISO with opl2iso.exe, then see if it is the same as the original ISO or works like the ul format did.

    The problem is that usually OPL don't need this "extra" step. If the ISO is well rip-ed then it is ok. So there is actually no tool to just patch an ISO in-place.

    And if this tool would exist, I fear people will get confused, and some will think it is needed to patch every game ...

    @All

    Btw who knows exactly what this "IOPRP patch" is ... ? Why is it required for some image, and how can it solve a problem ... I never asked or tried to discover it ...

    Well, thats the thing, you dont want to apply the IOPRP patch to just any ISO, you only apply it to one that NEEDS it aplied to, or you will wind up making a good game not work.

    One more test for me, if you dont mind.......could you delete the ul game from USBUtil and re-install the 'not working ISO' again, but make sure NOT to use the patch. Then test that one to see if it works?

    I would just like to confirm it was infact the IOPRP patch that made it work (since you say you didnt apply any patch) and not some bug/glitch in USBUtil.
