No PS2 homebrews support NTFS, so you'll have to reformat back to FAT32 again.
The correct way to install large PS2 games (>=4GiB) on a USB drive for use by OPL is to install them in split-file format, as done by installer programs like "USBUtil v2.0".
Simply storing the games as ISO files will work fine for all games when run via LAN (stored on a PC drive, which may include NTFS formatted HDDs or USB drives). But when the game is to be run from a USB drive connected to the PS2, the format used must be FAT32 and thus the largest ISO files must be less than 4GiB. So any games larger than that must then be installed in the split-file form.

Take a look into your sharing-rights.
If nothing changed, I have no idea currently...
You can get the usbutlilty tool here USBUtil by ISEKO - PSX-SCENE this will allow you to install games bigger than 4GB on a FAT32 formatted drive.
Open the game ISO image you want to play, select the drive to install it to (your USB harddrive). It will install it in ul format which breaks it up into Gigabyte chunks.
Leave the game installed in the root of your drive along with the ul.cfg.
If you want to play games from a USB drive that is formatted in NTFS, it must connected to your laptop/computer and you need to share it, this will enable you to play it over SMB (network) instead of connecting the USB drive directly to your PS2. As already mentioned USB drives connected directly to the PS2 must be formatted in FAT32 format and not NTFS as this is not supported.
My guess is you forgot something if you already had Network games display before, if this is your first time using the Network Shares, then you need to read the User Guides to be sure you have configured your settings and placed the files correctly named and in the proper folders, also correctly named.Originally Posted by skyes9x
I have 2 hard drives i use for Network games, one is FAT32 (since i also use it for USB on occasion) and the other is NTFS, both work fine. You just have to be sure you set the Share permissions and name the same as you did in the cnfiguration settings.

My driver currently is E: FAT32 and its work perfect (with splited ul game file Devil King).
but my problem is why E: NTFS doesnt work. My setting is :
- PS2 -
IP 192.168.1.10
Mask 255.255.255.0
GW 192.168.1.1
- PC -
IP 192.168.1.2
Port 445
Share name : PS2SMB
....(missed) : GUEST
PASSWORD :
and all device turn to Auto
Well it should work exactly the same way as your FAT32 does, using the exact same Share permissions, name, etc.
The file structure looks like this:
If you have everything set in the Share's permissions, Name and its exactly the same as you use for the FAT32 and the file structure looks like those images, then i can only assume there is an issue with that particular HDD during the NTFS formatting.
Edit:
Here try this, make a folder on any NTFS drive your using now in your PC.
-Name it PS2SMB.
-Put 2 folders inside that, CD and DVD,
-next right-click in the PS2SMB folder, make a new .txt and just rename it ul.cfg
-Put an ISO in one of those folders, CD is good just for this test. So use a ISO thats a CD game.
Now to test the Share just change it from the one your using as FAT32, without formatting or anything like that.
Select the Folder and right click on it
Select sharing and security
Tick the 'share this folder on the network' and type in the sharename
Since your FAT32 share is already using that sharename, your prompted with a confirmation, select yes
Now that folder is your Share and OPL should connect to it the same as it did for the FAT32 share

Aaaah,... I forgott one thing,...
Wasn't the official 0.8 still dependent on the presence of the ul.cfg?
Could be the issue, if he only uses ISOs... (beside sharing)
Another suggestion,... Would you mind using a 'protected profile' for OPL, instead of the GUEST-Profile?
