    Hi,

I'm using the release version 0.8 of OPL.

I just put some games on a Maxtor 200GB SATA hard disk which is fitted in an Akasa Integral P2 external USB/eSATA case.

Almost all the time, OPL doesn't recognise the USB device. (However it did recognise it once, and the game list showed up. But I've tried at least ten times since then without success.)

Update: OPL seems to recognise the drive more often if instead of setting USB startup to auto, I set it to manual, then wait a few seconds before selecting start drive in OPL.

Both uLaunchELF and PS2ESDL work fine with the drive. Is anyone else using that model of case successfully with OPL? Any changes in the current development version that might improve compatibility?

R ur hdd format is FAT32? If no u must change it. Usb in opl doesn't support ntfs. EDIT:[S]Every external hdd is fat32 at first.[/S] Maybe u formatted it to ntfs and that why it wont mapped ur games.

You can try another OPL-Version which supports the 'USB-Delay'-Feature.
Sadly, this is only available in newer OPL-Betas/Revisions and not in the official release-version 0.8, so you must compile them on your own...
    PS2 V7/DMS3 V2 (FW:2.4b7); Seagate Baracuda 200GB
    PS2 V7/CC1.0 (FW:34 hacked v2 BM:2.1.6); Maxtor DiamondMAX9 PLUS 160GB
    PS2 SCPH-30004R; NoMod+NoLaser

    3xSony BBA
    3xSony MC 8MB
    MAX/Datel 16MB with Boot-CD
    MAX/Datel 32MB&64MB

    Custom FMCB 1.8b+ Beta-Build, my AIO 0.5, Sony&xRhino-Linux
