will this have the feature to use both usb ports so we don't have to completely remove both usb stick/usb hdd?
Did a quick test on some games below :
Gradius V (SLES_520.95) - Works
Frequency (SCUS_971.25) - Works
Battle Stadium D.O.N. (SLPS_256.75) - Works
Tekken Tag Tournament Ver 1.1 (SLUS_200.01) - Hangs upon loading main menu but works in USB Advance.
*edit*
After hours of testing, i found that USB Loader handles quite well with cheat devices (i was using SwapMagic Coder 3.8) compares to USB Advance. Another good reason for using USB Loader![]()

I wanna use that USB loader, but I'm not sure which link I should download.
File Type: rar OPNUSBLD_reboot_text.rar (241.4 KB, 19 views)
File Type: zip Ps2 Image Viewer 1.1.zip (35.2 KB, 16 views)
Use the one from the first post, OpenUsbLd_beta.rar. If that doesnt work (like mine dont) then use the OPNUSBLD_reboot_text.rar and report the screens info where it hangs up at.
I just cant figure out why everyone else's works, but none of mine work....
Is everyone using a USB flash stick or HDDs?

I'll give a go of it here in a few. I loaded a game up on a usb hard drive (40GB 2.5" fijitsu hard drive in a generic enclosure) formatted to FAT32 using USButil 1.02
I'll give a report in a bit. of it loading up a rare game: Blood - The last Vampire Vol. 1 (JAP game)
Edit - had a chance to do the test immediately. program recognized hard drive and format. upon game boot, it ended up on a purple screen.
Edit - Midnightclub NTSC U/C - flashed purple, green, and rests on red.
That video explains many things, I thought it did not load the game executable but you sure have it load.
You can see that blue screen appears (cdvdinit ok) and green (executable loaded) thing that you had not told me before.
Now we know that the problem is not in the cdvdman or the MSD because it has been able to read the executable from the iso. The problem is on a reboot inside the game.
mmmm red, when it appears red is because something did not work. If occur just after the green is because it had loaded the executable but not run itOriginally Posted by Bootlegninja
had to go back to one of my favorites. Final Fantasy X. Erased the other games from the hard drive and installed it directly from the disc using the USB Extreme application.
The USB loader flashed all kinds of colors then a purple box around black, then booted the game.
Here is a new version that displays a log during the restart.
I tested it with PS2Load and it hangs in SifInitRpc, someone knows how to fix that?
Hey guys.
Great to see that HD Project code is not dead.
What do you think of moving this thread to HD Project sub-forum?
I've some more code i can post, but not really usable.
All game start but all freeze.
It was written 1 year ago.
IOP reset improvement, Complet handeling of hdloader game structure, ingame debuging with sio cable ( can be modified to support simple printf ), and ton of other things.
Just to remember: All codes are based of Romz cdvd replacement modules, and Ffrgiever game loader.
@Ifcaro:
Calling SifInitRpc is a bit tricky.
Your problem is rpc is not initied at iop side when your EE program call this function.
I solved this issue by loading a IOP module which call SifInitRpc just after reseting iop.
@All:
Sorry to don't answer mp right now, it would take a year to do.
Best regards
Polo
