In terms of be "officially" supported by OPL team, that's a true statement...

... but in particular case of TPIIG (Thunder Pro II Gold) modchip and into practical terms, it isn't.

Since you can make it compatible by applying the proper changes on source code that I have done myself and I published here some posts ago (just try to use VM + yoshi314's mips2dev + gedit). But take into account that you should make this at your own risk. Please notice that here is not right the place to go further on this explanation.

This is off-topic, please post this into a proper topic (for instance, the modchips ones).

In particular, I have no hurry (since I've already got a temporary solution for my case), anyway...

Please note that I've already asked jimmikaelkael to make TPIIG (Thunder Pro II Gold) modchip officially supported by OPL team, since it could be useful for other TPIIG modchip users. But let's give some time for that, and respect the OPL developers.

When this happens, you're supposed to file a report to the compatibility list. The developers can't fix these games if they don't know they're not working.

I'm really enjoying the ISO support in OPL. It works great and is extremely convenient. What would make OPL truly perfect is the virtual memory card implementation being merged in. Then, we have something which works almost entirely from the network.

I know the devs are busy but I'm curious as to why the other elements of Polos fork were merged and yet not the VMC stuff?

@ randomblitz10 - yes. it uses the exact same firmware as my coolmax cn-350. Use port 139 in OPL's config to make it work along with the correct IP address for it in OPL's PC IP setting.

true. i will see what i can do. but in the meantime it is what it is. as far as the games ive been playing usbadvance and openps2loader seem to have similar compatibility rates with different games working and not working for each.
