I don't really understand what you mean by "rework to".
If you meant to ask if any work continues for the USB core of OPL then of course it does.
But that doesn't necessarily mean that you can expect any significant speed or compatibilty improvements. The speed problems in particular are determined more by hardware limitations than anything else, and no amount of coding can replace the hardware interface with something faster.
This is not likely to change except for some few games that compatibility may be improved for. But the kind of work done by an IGR implementation has to interact with various parts of a game (such as for testing gamepad inputs) and that interaction may have negative effects with some games. This is inevitable.

I have test lots of games that works fine. Big thanks for the devoloper.
But i have some suggestions.
Is it in plan to install games with opl to internal HDD or maybe to Network (HDL like)?
I understand that this is to slow for USB HDDs but for the inernal HDD and network we have enouth speed.

I mean better game kompatibility and a litle bit of correction:
For example the game Champions of Norrath 1 and 2 or Baldorsgate 1 and 2
wokrs but all 10 - 15 seconds the game stutter for 1-3 seconds. Or some games work but freez on some screens.
Or i dont know is this possible for all singstar games and all games the need USB kontroller but can i start for example singstar or BUZZ from USB HDD port 1 and play from second USB with the mikrofon or buzzer. Some games (some singstars and some buzz and gitarrhyro) work with USB kontroller some not. Why?
I think OPL need here on some points some litle improvemenst or some litle adaptations.

For internal HDD an hdld_srv compatible installation server has been added to the latest betas. Game installation can thus be made over network, using the same installers previously used with the separate hdld_svr server originally developed for HDLoader.
Installs for USB and SMB core are best done by the program USBUtil on a PC, as doing it from a PS2 would make the installs horribly slow, as compared to doing it with a PC.

True, but installing a game disc for network use by sending data from the PS2 to a PC for installation in its SMB fileshare would be insane
so networked install will only be used for games on internal HDD, and this is done just as for HDL.

That is clearly a speed issue, and I already told you that those are to some extent unfixable due to the slow hardware speed and the indirect access methods of the PS2. (Main CPU has NO access to the hardware ports, but must request data from a slave CPU that can access the ports, and these methods cause delays.)
Or some games work but freez on some screens.
Some of those cases are probably also speed related.
And that is almost certain if the problem is unique to the SMB core, but doesn't happen with the other cores.

Because a game loading USB drivers that conflict with the drivers used by the USB core for ISO loading will always cause some problems. This is inevitable at present, and probably for the future as well.
A total redesign of drivers would be necessary to fix this, with a multitude of alternate drivers being made available to cope with differing needs for compatibility with all the custom USB drivers available on various game discs.
That would mean a HUGE investment of work which I don' think anyone is willing to make.
I think OPL need here on some points some litle improvemenst or some litle adaptations.
"Little" ?
I think not !
You probably can't see the extent of such problems or the magnitude of the efforts that would be needed to cope with all of their variants.
For now you'll just have to settle with our usual advice, which is that if you need special USB devices in a game, then you should NOT play the game through the USB core. And likewise if you need LAN or Internet capabilty in a game then you should NOT play the game through the SMB core.
And for both cases this is to avoid otherwise inevitable conflicts between the device drivers needed by the game and those needed by the OPL gaming core.

Thank you for this great work.

Ok i understand that the most problems that OPL head with USB games are problems with the USB speed. And i understand that the limititions of the hardware speed are unchangeble.
But i have a question:
I have many games hat are analog to the games Chapions of Norrath 1 and 2 or Baldors Gate and the work without any issue. This is the reson why i think that for this games we can do a litle better work?
And the game dont stutter everytime and not everytime on the same point.
Sorry for the hard comment but this 4 games are my favorite games and i think 4 from the best games for the PS2 and this is the reason whey i do what i can that this games do perfekt work.
Or can i path this game for a better work with OPL? Can a path with USBUTIL make the compatibility better?

since i don't have either ethernet adapter and internal hdd, most awaited feature/improvement is better usb drive compatibility(yellow screen in opl with usb hdd that works with usb advance).

How about a Ethernet adapter to USB so we don't have to have a computer hooked up all the time just a usbhdd to the back of the ps2 through Ethernet port

i was wondering if there was any thing i could do to possibly get info to add toxic os's partitioning to opl?

hi. did you miss my last post on the other page aimed at you? i'm really interested in what you have done regarding the IGR bringing you back into OPL.
btw @ developers, or anybody else who knows: what's the maximum number of installed games for an internal HDD? and what's the maximum drive size?

i think it was 255 or 256 games. not sure about size limit.

I would assume that the size limit is 2TB.
