And the option to print out the game and save as jpeg or png in pendrive?
Thanks for the answers
the way OPL works is it replaces game's I/O drivers with modified ones - e.g dvd driver with one that reads from a hdd partition/file on usb/smb share, or a driver that catches the IGR button combination. all I/O (pads, memcards, storage) is handled by separate processor and the method is fairly universal.
now, communication with graphics chip is not covered by this device. which means an universal reliable method for each game is not available.
it would require reworking each game's executable separately to facilitate that (with no guarantee of success). there is no universal way to do this. you would have to simply make a hack for each game separately.
In src\menusys.c line 102 replace
if (gHDDStartMode) // enabled at all?
and if you want in src\lang.c or in lng\lang_your language.lngQuote:
if ((gHDDStartMode) && (gEnableDandR)) // enabled at all?
to something that you will know that this option is also for the server.Quote:
Enable Delete and Rename actions
With this change, the Start HDL Server menu will only appear if you set for the hdd any mode other than off and enable the rename and delete option.
Was just about to follow your directions ...

What about firewire (ilink) access? It would seem like a great way to get around the limitations of USB on these machines.
You might want to take a look at this if you have firewire ;)
