@zin0099:
I don't know, if it's already said, but:
Do you have a "DVD"-folder in your share? If not make a folder called DVD, move all ISOs to it and put it to \PS2SMB\DVD
Your share should be "PS2SMB".
The DVD-ISOs have to be in DVD, CD-ISOs in a folder called CD
@all:
Does anyone have news about this (Open PS2 Loader - Bug reports) bugreport? Or maybe any settings for Ubuntu 10.10 SMB to get FIFA11 working? I don't like to boot my Win7-GamePC for playing PS2 Games![]()

Lets re-cap to be sure everything is still the same:
PS2 connected to router, router connected to PC. Cat5e cable used for both connections.
Have you checked the Router is set as Gateway instead of Router in its settings?
PC settings :
IP for the Router is 198.162.1.1 (set as Gateway)
IP for the PC is 198.162.1.200
OPL Settings :
- PS2 -
IP: 192.168.1.101
Mask: 255.255.255.0
GW: 192.168.1.1
- PC -
IP: 192.168.1.200
Port: 445
Share: PS2SMB
User: GUEST
Password:
Share is set with the name PS2SMB
CD, DVD and UL games are on the root of the Share folder or drive.
Ok, if all that is correct, lets try enabling a Guest Account for good measure.
Start > Control Panel > User Accounts > User Accounts
Look to see if the Guest Account is OFF or not. If it is OFF, turn it on. Just click on the icon and it will have a button to turn on guest account.
See if that helped. If you still cant see your list, then you might need to give some screen shots of your PC settings, perhaps theres a typo your just not see'ing and maybe me or someone else can see what your missing.

Hello,
Assuming your PS2 IP address is 192.168.1.101, turn the PS2 on, Launch OPL and open a command prompt on your PC (Start->All Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt) and type:
ping 192.168.1.101
and see if the PC can talk to the PS2 properly. If it's not working then the network setup is not good.
Your router should also be able to ping any IP from a web browser in the administration interface, so you can try from there and check the connectivity to your PC/PS2
Also, a router might bring more problems in, as each ethernet port can have a different IP (it's not a switch/hub).
Good luck with your setup.
I was having the exact same problem yesterday, all the config was ok but no games showed on the list.
The solution was use the software "USBUtil v2.1" to convert the *.iso files to ul.* files, then I placed the created files to the root of the PS2SMB (including the ul.cfg file also created) and voila! the games appears on the OPL menu!
Well, it worked for me, hope it work for you![]()
Another thing you could try is to change the Port number, as some Windows apps that run in the background also may use that port. Try port 137.
