Now you disable VMC was testing and nothing saves to VMC but do's create
on SMB but not HD

BTW like the look of this.

These commits on the main branch are only GUI stuff. I just took some parts of crazyc work but didn't merge the whole VMC core, and then added the dialog to create the VMC.

You will only have the creation, deletion, modification of VMC, nothing else.

So you have tested SMB successfully, which is kinda normal as I use this mode for my own testing. For the HDD mode, did you create the "VMC" folder on your HDD +OPL partition ?

I guess this should be done automatically in the future.

Yea I created +OPL and VMC and it failed on create.

Since my last post, I got SMB working on newer revs...using Everyone on Win7 and GUEST w/ no pword on OPL.

Katamari Damancy (SLUS_210.08) doesn't work for me on r474 or r477. It worked previously for me on r359...... Can anybody comment on this for me. SMB BTW.

For katamari the screen goes past all the pretty flashing colors and then freezes on a black screen. Does this have something to do w/ saving? I went back to a r359....and it worked.

Jak (SCUS_971.24) still works at 2/3/6/7 as of r477.SMB

With R477, how can I start using VMC? I've got my "VMC" folder with my shares. I've got for example "SCUS_971.24_VMC0.bin" in there for Jak. I made that with Vmc_Maker.exe made by POLO. I quadruple checked that i have it read/write.

However, in r477, I don't see any option in the compatibility menu to activate VMC. Am I totally missing it here?

You have to compile OPL with the command make VMC=1

lol. I am now going to systematically compile 359 to tip, and find where my beloved Katamari broke!

For the moment crazyc is doing his commits on the main branch too, so no need to use his own.

Don't compile every versions, just use dichotomty it will go a lot faster. If you find the exact version where it broke, it will be easy for Jimmi to fix your game.

I tested it from HDD in the beta revisions of OPL and it works fine with mode 6 (disable IGR) enabled, and dlanor said that he has tried it with SMB and it also works fine with mode 6. possibly it will also work from USB in the beta revisions too.

Tested haunting ground and not working on USB HD.

i also tested haunting ground form SMB and it was working fine (after selecting mode 6 - OPL r455)

i hope it's a minor issue and will be fixed soon.
