First i like that people are still trying to make an most complete compat list. But i dislike the point that everyone without doublecheck can access modify or delete entries entirely. Some sort of security should be added to both solutions.

I quite like the design of your site, too bad that it has some error which breaks the site. Last working entry is that of Kingdom Hearts.
I had something similar like you did in mind with some more functions but i have little time for that. If your interested in some sort of collaboration send me a pm. I guess if some people work together we can do it even better

I have just learned from scratch enough to make the website by myself. I know it's not much, but it did take quite some effort, and I work on improving the code and functionality often.

I'm not sure what could be broken, unless you are using a really old browser or do not have javascript enabled. I've tested with all the basics and have no problems.

We are in the 21th century. This should be from the scene to the scene. With all abilities to make things easilier. Every day people on the net proof that such things are possible and working.

For me i don't have the time to work on this databases.
Maybe one or two of you are willing to make the job. So northbear's points then are obsolete.


In the final state it's no prob to make a really (!) nice, professional site...

As a google docs filled with game names and gamecodes and no compatibility information is much too long... xD

The idea is public submission. You go to the list, and anyone~ can ADD or EDIT the entries that have been made to it. It has a search, live search during game entry, sort by region etc.. it will get full as time continues, and people ADD games to it using the SUBMISSION FORM.

Big Mutha Trucker 2 (US), SLUS_210.86 black screen after 2nd title loading screen. I tried with HDD, SMB, USB and set different mode ON/OFF has the same result.

Note: ESR works with this game (from google).

To copy some games with their ids to the lists so the users have a good start is not a sign of lameness...

Maybe you should think of your site.
We are at web 2.0 or to be more precise web 2.5 (one of my rotation points) and your project is light years away from that...
