IMPORTANT NOTE: Game fix may cost minimum of effort. It's because very same menu/game loader as I saw in Street Fighter Alpha Anthology.
v0.8 = R503
Both games has already fixed since R515 and lastest beta is R591
I am getting the same results as KyRol. Street Fighter Alpha Anthology [SLUS_213.17] works perfect but Vampire Darkstalkers Collection [SLPM_659.98] goes to BSOD after the game selection screen. I am using the latest OPL 0.8 R591 and I am getting the same results on R590. The latest version I have before R590 is R553 and both games work perfectly on R553.
Kind Regards,
Usal.

Ok, then what we know:
R553: works
R591: doesn't works
As I don't own the game, if you want the issue to be tracked down, you must find the exact revision which broke the game. Then we could examine the code changes.
Using dichotomy, should only take 5 tries ...

Thank you lee4 for the precision, it will save time hunting false track.
s8n confirm what mode you are reporting, and try to find the revision if the problem is real.
(The correction for these games is applied to all mode, but indeed, due to different timing between device, HDD patch could require a different setting)

And where do I get R553? I've been looking for it through Google for hours.
PS: The site is telling me that my quote box was a forbidden link, so I had to simply use quotes.

there probably is not to be downloaded. you should download the source code and compile it.
this is only way, you can use the changes, compatibiliade, among other things the OPL v0.9 beta.

Look, I have no idea how to do that (compile it).
Can someone just upload R553 and send me a link?
Really, it's a tiny file? Why couldn't someone upload it? You can play specific games with custom elf's, there is ABSOLUTELY no need to run another compile of 553 supports that game.

I can not because it is against the policy of the forum and the developers.
like you're getting, you should download the virtual machine that has everything to compile the OPL:http://psx-scene.com/forums/f150/dow...ile-opl-63778/ (Download Ubuntu Virtual Machine + enviroment to compile OPL)
but I think these times with the perturbation of the servers, the links should all be off the air.
if you use windows, should call virtual machine with Linux
and install the libraries of Development PS2DEV.
or install mingw, and few things more to install the libraries.
I personally think it's pretty easy in Linux
if you want I can help you, since SOME of the tutorials are a bit outdated now.
