Okay so I'm trying to get my PS2 to load games across the network. But according to my router, the PS2 isn't even connected to the network! I know that it can connect because I tried a network enabled game I had, but when I try to use PS2 loader it doesn't show up in the device list.

Here is what I've done so far:
I installed McBoot with the disk swap trick.
    Then I installed open PS2 loader 0.8
I've set up the Windows XP machine with a folder called PS2SMB and placed some PS2 .iso files in there.

Then I ran ps2loader and changed the network files as such:

    -PS2-
IP 192.168.1.128 (don't know what to put here)
    Mask 255.255.255.0
    Gateway 192.168.1.1

    -PC-
IP 192.168.1.106 (my windows xp machine)
    Port 445
    Share PS2SMB
    User Guest
    Password

and nothing. nothing shows up in the game list.

I'm been following this guide so far:
[How To] Boot Games Off Network (SMB) With Playstation 2 (PS2) Using OpenPS2Loader (A Novice Guide) « Welcome to the Underground.

You need to place the ISO into the correct folder and with the correct naming.
Re-read that part in the OPL-Guides.

I've set up the Windows XP machine with a folder called PS2SMB and placed some PS2 .iso files in there.

    hiya raptorhunter..........

Go into the PS2SMB Folder and create another Folder called ' DVD '

Put your isos in there and dont forget to share PS2SMB in WinXP

see how you go with that and get back to us with some results
