I just tried and changed my PS2 IP to ".104" at the end and also changed the gateway to "1.1" instead of it being "1.2" the result, I still am able to ping the ps2 without a problem, tried on both FAT32 & NTFS if it were the games, I wouldn't get ".iso is name properly" in the testing tool if you made a mistake in file name also the .01 .02 files are in root instead of CD/DVD unlike the .isos, I tried manual and auto they both result the same...I don't know why I can make a FTP connection easily using some custom application like "PS2client" to throw in folders and they immediately show up on uLaunchELF's "host" folder....super confused, still thank you, I'll try whatever else suggestion you or anybody else has to share.
This is what I have in cmd after typing: ipconfig/all
Now i see whats wrong..... your config ! !
Your PC has the IP 192.168.1.2
Your router has IP 192.168.1.1
So change your config in OPL to this......
- PS2 -
- PC -
and see what happens.......
This time it loads faster the scannin for network games, I can still ping myself with that configuration you suggested. But, yet again I face an empty blue screen with nothing in it, perhaps the "User: GUEST" should be something else...? From what I read it isn't so important and should be left as it is...I'm running out of options.
I tried just in case both NTFS & FAT32, with both containing CD/DVD folders in which only the DVD folder has two .isos(also checked if compatible in compatibility list). clean and checked with that special name checker program provided, in the root is the .00/.01/.02 converted games.
Can you please write how exact the .isoīs named in your DVD folder?
You donīt need to check first if itīs compatible with OPL or not....
The "compatibility" is only if the game plays with OPL. It must be shown in OPL if itīs compatible or not....
in XP you only have to "share" a folder, it doesnīt need to be configured with "GUEST" or so....
I've set my IP from DHCP to static instead this time, but the result is the same even so...
Ok, itīs right all.....
But just make a try one of the images. I mean try only .iso or only .ul.
Maybe cause you have both (iso and ul) of the same game OPL makes conflicts......
Nothing happens, the same blank blue screen...I read some of the folks after preinstalling STILL had this problem of nothing showing up.
Damn, i just read that you have a chiped PS2.
Try to disable it when PS2 boots up (depends what chip you have, you must press something on your trigger).....
Problem is, I don't know WHAT mod chip I have, it's been over 5 years since I got my PS2, I do know that in a random combination by tapping the reset button some menu shows up: "Playstation CEE" and freezes....if there was some place I could see all combinations on all modchips made for ps2 :S
My PS2's version is SCPH-77004 v15, I tried the Matrix way by holding "start" to disable...nothing happens, tried holding Circle + Triangle, STILL nothing. I wonder what modchip I have...
I donīt know a site.....
But i know:
Matrix and clones (ModBo) : Turn PS2 off, press and hold "START" and turn PS2 on. If on screen comes "DISABLED" then itīs off.
Crystal : Turn PS2 on, press 6 x reset in half second steps.
DMS : Turn PS2 off, press and hold "L1" and turn PS2 on. It must come "DMS disabled".
