Alright. I'm going to try to explain my situation the best I can.

I ran my ethernet cable directly from my PC (running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1, all firewalls turned off) to my SCPH-90001 PS2 (Cermanic Black).

I set my PC to the following settings:

    IPv4 Address - 10.1.1.1
    IPv4 Subnet Mask - 255.255.255.0
    IPv4 Default Gateway - 10.1.1.1
    IPv4 DNS Servers - 10.1.1.0 and 10.1.1.10

I created a folder in my NTFS formatted drive on the PC called "PS2SMB". Inside that folder I placed two other folders, "CD" and "DVD". Inside the "DVD" folder I placed "SLUS_213.59.MGS3D1.iso"; a copy of my Metal Gear Solid 3 disc (came out to 4.35GB) that I created using my copy of a program called "MagicDisc". I set the "PS2SMB" and all subsequent folders to share, giving Guest permissions and enabling Guest under user accounts.

I booted into OpenPS2Loader v0.8 on my PS2 and accessed the network configuration. This is how it is currently set up:

    PS2 IP - 10.1.1.2
    PS2 Mask - 255.255.255.0
    PS2 Gateway - 10.1.1.1

    PC IP - 10.1.1.1
    PC Port - 485
    PC Share - PS2SMB
    PC User - GUEST
    PC Password - (N/A)

I saved those configuration settings and ran the network. I get no list. My ISO does not show. I have tried various alterations to the network settings to no avail. Where am I going wrong? Does the issue come from the network, or is there an issue with my ISO? The ISO works fine running via emulator on my PC... please help! I am so close I can feel it! Just want to get this thing up and running.

My solutions use Win XP :P

I have the same problem posted it here
http://psx-scene.com/forums/f150/gam...68/#post816614 (Games not showing on network list, pics in thread)

Last post everything works connects OPL crates folder "VMC" on my PC but it doesn't see my games which are correctly setup, i'm still trying to figure it out but it would be easier to install XP.

My idea is that on Win7 OPL can't access sub folders since it does crate "VMC" so it has access to PC PS2SMB but not DVD maybe somewhere it permissions settings.

    Edit

Ok scrap that other PC in my network can access DVD so it's not that.

    Edit 2

Ok i can clearly say that the fault is somewhere in the DVD folder, i used usbutilty to change one of the games into parts and placed tjose in root of PS2SMB and it works.

So either keep trying for ISO to work or use this.

    CYA

It seems I have found the culprit! Setting the PS2 to use port 485 was what was causing the problem. I split my ISO apart using USBUtil 2.0 and set it in the root PS2SMB directory along with its configuration file, then set the port on the PS2 back to 445. The game now shows up in the list!
