Network connections problem

Hello , recently i have restored an old pc and i wanted to load my backup from the pc hd . I have a slim ps2 that worked well over SMB with my previous PCs but with the new one i can't connect to it . OPL 0.9 give me error 203 but the cable and the ps2 works well and even the PC ethernet card seems to work . Any ideas ? Thanks in advance to everybody .

check firewall, allow proper ports?

i ve already tried , and i ve also tried with a ubuntu live cd but i have no activity on ethernet connection like the cable was unplugged
