Quickly i unplug the whole thing but i can see a little microchip kinda burned... so i need to take a decision now:
1. Try to fix the HDD (i dont know how)
2. Buy another IDE HDD (they are too expensive on these days, for example a 160gb IDEE HDD cost equal than a 500gb SATA2 HDD)
3. Buy a 2.5" 160gb and look for a IDE2SATA working adapter for use with my fat ps2 NA (i look some info and i can find anything decent, just cheap adapters)
4. Buy a RJ45 crossover cable a 500gb HDD for my PC, make a partition to backup some games and use OPL with SMB
Hope you can suggest me what to do now... as for my HDD a minute of silence

Sorry to hear that. I remember that something like that happened to me in 2006 with my PC (My 3-month old 80GB Seagate HDD blew up... and I lost all data on it).
Well... this is what I would probably do if I were you: Get a 2.5-in SATA HDD and hook it up to a SATA-to-IDE adaptor that's connected to your NA.
Make sure that the entire HDD + SATA2IDE adaptor can fit into the PS2 before buying them (Make measurements if you can)!!
Of course, if your HDD was still under warranty, you should just return it for free. Otherwise... I won't attempt to fix it, if I were you.
Otherwise, your other option will be to go for SMB.
