nope FMCB doesn't enable him to play burned Backups its the ESR which plays patched DVDs
damn and i thought he has the 8C Date Code
Wait, define "via uLE". By just copying FMCB or by running an installer from uLE? Just for clarification.Quote:
I tried to install FMCB via Ule but iT wasn`t installing...
EDIT: I ask, because slims are new to me (I don't own one).
Yes i tried to install throgh Ule Cd with FMCB in Usb stick is that a right way????
You're still not being very clear.
Please try to be exact and precise, list the steps that you took, and try to explain what does and what does not work at each step. If you cannot do so in words, try to make a few pictures or a video.
That being said, if you have a slim, you won't be able to install a hard-disk into you PS2, because A) there is no space to put the hard-disk, and B) even if there was space, there is no connection for it. You can use a USB hard-disk (or a network connection).
Now to install FMCB (so that you can boot OPL without needing a disk):
- Put the FMCB installer (I can't post links due to stupid forum rules, but I'll try to put a description in my next post) on a USB stick,
- Start uLaunchElf,
- Use the filebrowser to navigate to "mass" to the directory with the installer,
- Start (execute) "FMCBInstaller(dot)elf" (again, sucky forum rules, sorry)
- Follow the instructions on screen.
Congratulations, you have now installed FreeMCBoot!
