I have installed monster rancher 4 via network/iso and monster rancher evo via hdloader's install both run and play just fine but neither game allow for creating monsters from random CDs/dvds I was wondering if anyone else had run into this and or found a work around, aside from playing from the disk to create monsters then saving your game and reverting to the hdd/network install for game play.

I think the DVD drive is not accessed by the homebrew stuff when running games off HD etc. So you will never get it to recognize discs when using OPL or HDL.

I couldn't get MR4 to even be detected by OPL after putting it on USB drive, so at least be happy you got it to run!
