MGS3 snake eater: freezing
MGS3 snake eater: freezing –
I'm playing mgs3 (Pal version) installed on a usb stick, the game works just fine including videos sequences (no stutering) and then at the rassvet level ( beginning of the game) it freeze , i can't do nothing but a reboot.
Anyone had this problem in the past ? Any particular setting i should enable to fix this ?

Since You're Beginner (Like Me ) : did You Defrag Your Games After Ripping Them on the Usb Stick ?
Tried compatibility Modes :S ?
The files weren't fragmented and regarding compatibility modes i have tried many but nothing came out of this so far.
modes 2 ,4 don't work 100% sure
I've forgotten to mention that the game has been patched (with esr elf)

my version is NTSC (SLUS_209.15) and works well, both by network or by USB.

It seems that you were right if i don't patch the game run just fine, no stutering , no freeze in other words perfect
the modes are a possibility, if the game does not run or catch, we try each one till there's no alternative.

but some are easy to understand how:
Mode 4 - skip PSS file reads, jumps pss videos of the game. Tony Halk's my only three runs with it enabled.
Mode 5 - disable DVD9 support (of course)
Mode 6 - Disables IGR, when you reset the game co the sequence of buttons.
debug when ON, disables the sequence of colors before the games begin.
