Looking for compatibility help

Hey can anybody confirm with me that they've gotten god of war 1 or 2, or Valkyrie profile silmeria working on any version or revision of OPL? I'm using smb and only smb and cannot find any straight answer because the thing is constantly being updated. So far, it seems that people who load from a hdd have no problems.
Below are the problems i'm encountering.

God of War: Freezes as Kratos draws his swords on the boat, before the zombie soldiers are shown, music and sound effects keep going.

God of War 2: Freezes after/during the first encounter with the Colossus of Rhodes during gameplay. Music and sound effects keep going.

Valkyrie Profile 2: Freezes either while running through the town in the beginning of the game, during the battle tutorial, or during most cutscenes. Also ive read about a save glitch, can't test that due to the fact that I can't play more than 5 minutes, and also tried the controller swap glitch, which didn't have a positive effect either. music and sound effects keep going.

Ive tried several revs but i really have no idea what i'm doing so ill ask you guys thanks for any feedback.

Well need to know with Gods is DVD9 if so make sure you don't enable mode 5
and with Valkyrie Profile 2 make sure mode 3 and 6 enabled so works right has anti cheat in game and can detect IGR and OPL

You could try enabling those for God to may help

Thanks for the fast reply, yes i knew the god of wars are both dvd-9, i just wish i there was an easier way to test em besides trial and error with the modes

But you may have problems also stemming from the release version on OPL had a DVD9 problem so try to get a more recent revision
