Here's pretty much how I do it;
Go the the games release data page for the disc IDs while in a different tab I open the images tab. Then just save the cover thumb (full size images look the same when re-sized) Then when I have all the images for a letter I use image resizer to re-size them all to the appropriate dimensions and rename master to batch rename them appropriately.
ta-da, just make sure the picture you're renaming is like this ABCD-12345 or things will get messy :p
I notice that for 7 Sins the disc ID used is SLES_533.64, which is not the disc ID I am using for that game. I googled it to find that SLES_533.64 is listed as Germany release disc ID. I tried using this ID with my copy of 7 Sins, and it comes back with a white screen. The United Kingdom release is SLES_532.97, which is the correct disc ID for my copy. So, in the # pack there is no cover art for the UK release of the game, only Germany.
@usrmd Fixed # is now version 2. Like any website gFAQ is far from perfect so I appreciate the input. Not to mention there's so many different PAL releases it gets a little hard to keep track of them all. :)
Evergrace (NTSC-J) conflicts with DOA2J, sort of. Internally it's SLPS_250.26 (which is DOA2's code) but on the box it's SLPS 25003.
Dunno if this is the type of conflict you're interested in, but it is a potential source of confusion since some programs read the product code from the ISO image. Maybe put in a B version of SLPS_250.26?
Also wanted to mention this site for easy product code lookup: SonyIndex.com
