Hi guys, I'm a bit new to this and I've run into a bit of trouble getting OPL set up properly.
I had a SMB share working properly on an IPv4 network and was able to access it via OPL fine, however recently I've upgraded to a new modem/router that assigns IP addresses based on IPv6. This poses a problem because none of our computers are in the "192.168" range anymore.
I'm basically connecting both devices directly into the modem.
IPconfig gives me this:
At first, I simply tried updating my settings in OPL to reflect the changes. This is what I currently have set -Code:
Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:
Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : fe80::fcac:3771:fb54:ea04%11
IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 184.108.40.206
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.248
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 220.127.116.11
As of now, nothing pops up when I start the Network Game browser in OPL. Pinging 192.168.0.40 gives me "Request timed out", whether I'm attempting it while OPL is open or through uLaunchElf's PS2Net FTP server.Code:
IP - 192.168.0.40
Mask - 255.255.255.248
Gateway - 18.104.22.168
IP - 22.214.171.124
Port - 445
Share - ps2smb
User - GUEST
Password - *blank*
I tried grabbing a Wireshark output, but it didn't look like much was really going on:
I also attached the full output, if that helps at all.
Anyone else run into this problem or have any ideas?
