I was asking this because an issue posted before: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f150/mov...de-hdd-107125/ (Movies freezing using OPL 0.9 with IDE HDD) I was suspecting about defragmentation, I searched the forums, the internet, but no information at all. The interesting part was that I tried to play bonus videos from Guitar Hero II and Guitar Hero III few days ago and they played without hanging, and now they freeze as I stated in the previous post. Who knows.

    Thanks for the quick answer

Have you tried repairing internal hard drive file structure through the PS3?

What I did was wipe the HDD using dd UNIX command, the drive was OK, then I reformated it using WinHIIP v1.7.6, so I discarded HDD problems.
