Hello everybody.
I'd like to know how to run emulators and collections in OPL
They do not have the boot files (SLES, SLES) then to do?
I heard the new option Custom-ELF but do not know how to use it.
Note: Sorry, English is not my native language

USB,HDD or ETH?
The problem is only from USB and ETH while the game is iso.
I've never actually tried an image(iso)from USB\ETH that don't have such name but try this.
For the image name use this format to add any name you want
4letters_3digits.2digits.the game name.iso
Then in OPL press triangle on the game,go to Custom ELF menu is type literally(case sensitive)the real name of the main elf=>hit of and try the game.
If you are installing the game into internal hdd,just type the main elf name
I understand that OPL does not run ELF files from USB,MC, nor HDD directly. (somebody correct me I am wrong!)
The Custom-ELF option is for the case where you have a CD or DVD with more than one ELF.
To make your collections work, you have to make a playable ps2 image. Use ... cdgenps2, I think it's called? Maybe there's an easier way, I don't know about.

Wrong...OPL can run ELF file directly from USB,MC and ETH(not sure about HDD but I think it can't load only from HDD)Originally Posted by holiday
No really but kinda wrong...those collections have one main elf file that act as loaded with menu for the games inside.Originally Posted by holiday
You can use Custom-ELF to:
In USB and ETH mode - if the game is ISO and the main ELF file does not use this pattern 4letters_3digits.2digits
In HDD mode you can use any name,the limit is from isos only
You can also use it to start a certain elf from a disk with multiple games...for example you have game executables(elf files)and you can use that feature to set the name of the game you play the most,that way you don't need to load the game loaded(that display the disk of game)and then load the game
Also in ETH mode is you are using NTFS file system,you can create "copies"(hard links) of a game with multiple elf files and in that way you will be able to see all of the games in the OPL list rather that run the game loaded which display the games
The easier and most recommended program for dealing with PS2 games is ImgBurnOriginally Posted by holiday
To make custom ELF boot like uLE make a file named
conf_apps.cfg
inside of that
make it something like this
uLaunchELF=mc1:/BOOT/BOOT.ELF
GSM=mc1:/BOOT/GSM.ELF
hdldsrv086=mc1:/APPS/HDLD_SVR_092A.ELF
HDTV=mc1:/BOOT/XploderHD.ELF
No VMC OPL=mc1:/OPL/No_VMC_OPNPS2LD.ELF
OPL=mc1:/OPL/OPNPS2LD.ELF
PS2RD=mc1:/ps2rd/ps2rd.elf
SMS=mc1:/BOOT/SMS.ELF
ESR=mc1:/BOOT/ESR.ELF
SMS1000=mc1:/BOOT/SMS_SCPH-1x000.elf
BTW you can boot ELF inside of internal Hard drives to just replace like so
SMS1000=pfs0:/SMS_SCPH-1x000.elf
and have said ELF inside of +OPL partition![]()

Is how all good gaming systems came to beThank you RandQalan! I been looking for this information for a while... all i could find was what I posted earlier. Thanks for the example. Very helpful.
And you answered the The Dark Knights question too.
enable "Applications start mode" in OPL
