i have no trouble flattening dvd9 to dvd5. however this following part is unclear to me on the sksapps hd list for usbadvance

    gran turismo 4 NTSC-U, scus 97328.

for usbadvance this game is marked with the note "flatten to dvd5 and apply the hdl patch"

i see there is a link to the hdl patch there... i have it... now how do i apply it? i see some .PPF files and a small .BIN file. im trying to figure this part out. what do i do with these?

i have read that the full dual layer gt4 still freezes in certain areas or doesn't fully work in openps2loader.

basically im asking whats the easiest way to play gt4 via usb.

    thank you for your patience

i don't know about usb but i don't need any patches and flattening to run it off internal hdd. try just ripping it normally, and then installing it to usb.

it will have to be split into 1GB parts (the way it's usually installed), because fat32 filesystem cannot handle files >4GB. and gt4 image is ~5.3 GB.
