Help with VMC and Cover arts.

Sorry, my bad, well i play my games from my internal HD (my pendrive stay connected in my ps2 because i have SMS elf on it so i boot Ule using the exit to APPS/BOOT.ELF option in OPL and i have my musics on my pendrive so i keep listening in a god part of my day, my father keeps listening his radios on the sound system here at my house so i can't use it :/) , formated it by booting a CD(in my computer's BIOS) wich had an program (a lot of programs) called HDD megapack 9 BR, it installed HDL too, then i transfered the games to my HD using WINHIP selected 48bit hd loader, in somewhere in winhip (sorry, can't remember) then played a lot for 2 days, then i shut down the console and went to sleep, in the next day, when i tried to play RED SCREEN OF HELL, s***, then a friend told me that my HDL has been corrupet, and i didnt had all the games on my computer so i decided to transfer the OPL elf to my MC, then a lot of research on internet and i managed to get it working, and playing games from my internal HD, i wanted to save some space in my MC so tried to create a VMC, i couldn't

The above indicates that there is some corruption on the HDD, since HDL could no longer access the games, but also that the corruption is of a kind that does not prevent OPL from accessing the games, using its much improved driver setup.

It is also possible that it was not the HDD as such that was corrupted but rather your HDLoader elf file, causing it to fail regardless of the HDD content.

And the failure to create VMC is probably due to the lack of a proper "+OPL" partition and the "VMC" folder it should contain so as to allow creation of VMC files in it.

Yes it is. The word "couldn't" is the standard abbreviation for "could not" which is a correct form of expression in this context, when the operation you tried failed to work. The only thing wrong there is that whenever you use the word "I" it should be written as a capital letter (== upper case letter). This is a special rule in English, unique only to that single word !

But are you sure you did this correctly ?
(as in: have you ever created such partitions before using uLE...?)

Also, did you see any partitions listed in the HddManager ?
With a large game collection it takes some time to build the partition list, a few minutes sometimes.

i though it could be some problem with the hard disk, then i use the scan& repair option on winhip, nothing wrong, it didn't showed any worng sectors

That is odd, if both HDL and uLE fail to access the disc correctly.

Your welcome, but it is still too early to say anything for sure.

OH,i play my games only from my internal HD, i don't use my USB device to play games, and my HD still has 6gb of free space!

6 GB is not much, considering the imprecise way the used space is usually calculated... I've had drives refuse further allocation due to being full with appx that much free space being claimed as still remaining. That likelihood also increases if the space remaining is badly fragmented.

No accident as such, but I've had some medical problems requiring minor surgery.
(Minor but highly irritating, as one of the things I was long forbidden to do was simply to sit down... Like when sitting at the computer, which I had to do without for a long time.)

Hey again, well i think it was my mistake but, last day, after i used the scan&repair option un Winhip i did not connected my HD to my console, but i did it today and, well the red screen still showed up when triyng to boot my ps2 via dev2, but Ule now opened my HD,and looks like the HDL elf is corrupted(like you said dlanor) i tried to open it and the red screen showed up, but now Ule open my HD and it now show the partitions that are in my HD and i created another one called OPL, now i just need to copy the Cover arts and icons to it, THX for help dlanor!!
Well you asked above if i already created partitions on a HD, yes i did, on my computer my 500gb hd is partitioned in to 3 partitions 1 for OS 1 for personal docs (like musics, photos and such...) and another 1 for my games (just need to buy a better GPU for it) done by myself.

OHH and i don't know if this is the right place to ask this but, 3 of my games are freezing at some game points, BLACK at the second level as you reach the treneska border crossing (i don't know if anyone know the game) when you go trough the gate, the game freeze, and if you have any save of this game thats not on the first level, the menu cursos does not apper (but if you remove the at the intro screen and start the game the menu works nomaly), my NFS Most Wanted, freezes at driving into the middle of the road, ai vehicles can go trough but if i'll tri to go the game freezes (tried with 10 diferent cars) and my DBZ budokai tenkaichi 3 freezes everytime you put goku ssj 4 to do any anims, like raise an arm or speak something, but if he stand its ok, in a map ( desert - day i guess) and at master's roshi full power, if he show up on screen the game freeze, i wonder if this is some kind of OPL bug or its my game images that are corrupted....
