Thankyou all, my problem is realy the crossover cable. now i can play but same times the connection goes slow or just not reach the games, but i guess is normal
what is the color wiring on your crossover cable cause i cant seem to get it right, im having the same problem

i have one of those crossover cables, same wiring and everything and i still cant see my games.
You also have to share the folder or what not, personally I use my external hd. go to the drive or folder, not sure if it has to have the game list file in root or not, my external doesnt have any folders. Anyways, click the drive, click propertys, go to the sharing tab, click advanced sharing, then click on the box that says share this folder then you give it a share name.
btw im just going by the directions I saw on youtube....so to continue.
for a share name type PS2SMB
it HAS to be in ALL CAPS.
check your permissions, it should say for everyone, and make sure only read is selected, then press ok.
After that you just have to do the whole router config
thanks i got it to work, i guess it was a permission problem. the crossover way is lagging bad though and i dont know if anyone else have this problem but everytime i use the router method i end up buying a new router cause for some strange reason the router just stop working overall.
