I have been following this thread for a while and dissapointed that Krevnik is no longer going to have a big part in it and now, if you have noticed CrazyC has released a dual-layer patch, that so far works really well.
I was wondering if Krevnik's dual-layer code that has been developed could be used to make a dual-layer PS2 side dumping program and it wouldn't have to be confined to dual-layer, it could be a stand alone program for game dumping, that way people wouldn't have to dump from pc, unless the game required it or if their laser is busted. The program would dump dual-layer games and apply the layer break patch that is needed by CrazyC's method as the image is being dumped. And once finished it could be set to automaticly run hdloader (from specified location) and you could also apply ppf patches on the fly (again a specifed to the patch would be required).
It could also have a network server bult in much like hdl_svr for network dumps.
Just an idea, doesn't have to have all the implementation I mentioned mainly the dumping.
