.hack Part 1 Infection sound problems

Hello. I wanted to ask if anyone else who has used opl (any version) has had any problems with the voice overs at certain parts of the game not loading up at all? For example, when you invite someone to your party, they'll respond to you and talk aloud. That's off the disc. However, using a rip that I made from my original disc, whenever I invite someone, they don't talk at all. I did notice one odd thing though... when inviting someone using opl, the 'calling..' dialogue screen stutters and lags. Doesn't do that off the disc however. This absence of sound also occurs when I would approach Grunty food... they usually talk, but nothing using any version of opl. Fine off disc however.

By the way, this is on an internal hdd, using the old fat system, and my own rip. used multiple programs like DVDDecrypter, Winhiip, and even an hdloader install to get the game on my hdd and the problem continues to happen.

Any tips? Has anyone else had the same issues?

If you find an answer let me know voice overs have been a problem with that game since I started using OPL and that is almost 3 years now

Oh man lol... That doesn't give me a lot of hope. Do you know if the voice over problem happens with the other three games as well when using opl?

Yep tested them all and it will over smb and internal HD for all of the series but GU works

Good to know GU works. Awesome battle system, much more to do in battle than the original .hack games. Oh well. I guess I'll just have to play the four originals off disc for the voices... there goes my laser.
