I cannot get any games to show on the network list. I have tried as many solutions as I can find here, so I will include as much info as I can.

I'm using OPL v0.8 (and also trying 0.7 as I go along).
PS is a slim, model is 77001, date code 6A.
I have both the PS2 and PC hooked up to a router. What I have actually done is simply unplug the ethernet cable from the back of my modded XBOX that I run XBMC on and plug it into the PS2.
I used PowerQuest Partition magic to create a 15gig NTFS Primary partition on the larger of my two hardrives, then I formatted it to FAT32 using USBExtreme.
I used Swap Magic 3.6 disks to create a FMCB memory card, and then installed OPL from a thumb drive onto the PS2 memory card.
I've only kept a few games for PS2 and they are the only ones I really want to play anymore, mostly just FFX International and FFXII.
I've ripped the game discs using USBUtil v2.0 to the partition, placing isos in a DVD folder while the ul files are in the root.
I setup the partition to be shared, and then also set both the CD and DVD folders to be shared. I made sure that the Guest Account is turned "On" under Control Panel > User Accounts.
I have also tried creating another admin level User Account with password but got the same results.
I have also loaded an ISO to a usb thumb drive, but again nothing appeared in the USB list.

Also, one question. Using v0.8, aren't I able to use strictly ISO files in the DVD folder to play games? I have tried it with and without the ul files, but would prefer just isos if possible.

Here are pictures of the various settings I am using.

    ip config and ping

New partition and it's included folders and settings.

    OPL v0.8 Network Settings

    OPL v0.7 settings

Here is something strange. While I was trying different computer settings, I left v0.7 sitting at the Network screen and a seemingly unending list of files popped up after about 5 minutes. Each file had the same gibberish string of letters as it's name. I couldn't replicate this on v0.8. Selecting a file gave me the flashing colored screens before going white and freezing.

Try Erasing the gateway. Make sure ur ip address are the same in ur pc unit and ps2 console

Edit: oh, i see ur using router. Try changing the 192.168.0.10 to 192.168.1.10 and also the other one, change 0 to 1.

Edit2: Official OPLv0.8 User Guides hope it can solve ur problem. read and understand it and..
Official OPLv0.8 User Guides for the alternate way solving ur iso problem.

Edit3: i spotted 1 major problem here. U supposed to share FOLDER not a DRIVE. Make a new folder in the partition. Whatever the name is but... Ah u know that right. take the cd and dvd folder to the new folder and share the new folder.

You can share a drive, it doesnt have to be a folder. But i noticed you have PS2(E) as your ShareName and it should be just PS2 as you have it in your OPL settings.

Everything else seems to be ok, so you dont need to mess with your IP settings as Eld mentioned.

I have the same prob but on Win7 when i tried OP on my notebook with win XP it worked perfectly but Win 7 is a bitch when it comes to sharing files :/.

    Here's more detail's
I can tell my setting are ok PS2 connects to my PC i can tell it cause OP crates VMC foldr i the shared folder on my PC but for some reason OP doesn't see my ISO which are in PS2/DVD/ folder and they are named correctly tried copying one onto a USB stick and works fine in OP from it.

    IP PC
    192.168.0.2
    255.255.255.0
    rest is blank

    PS2 OP IP
    192.168.0.10
    255.255.255.0
    192.168.0.2

named changed from PS2SMB to PS2 the folder on PC named PS2 share name PS2.
The HDD is NTFS but that isn't the problem since my laptop HDD is NTFS and OP work perfect on it.
    I followed this TuT http://youtu.be/sFvfMxklLz4
O yeah im using ethernet cable PC PS2 directly connected
    Any help ??

    THX i CYA
