A few questions –

Want to know a few things before I get started:
Is there an actual hard drive compatibility list? Every google search just turns with games that are compatible with hdd, I want an actual compatibility of drives (seagate, maxtor, etc). I'm thinking of buying a 500gb Seagate IDE (ST3500630A Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 Hard Drive) Should this drive work? It's used on Amazon for pretty cheap.
Also, can I use gnie's eXpert tools to reduce iso size and it work with OPL? I realize there is a limit of 250+ games so being able to shrink games would be great.
With an internal HDD, do I need to defragment? Or is that only for USB drives?
As far as I can understand, once I have my trimmed iso ready, all I do is use winhiip to install right? Must I do anything else with the ISO? Thanks for your answers and other responses that may help this noobie in his OPL ways.

1.PS2 Hard Drive Compatibility Chart
2.Yes you can it it depend on the game(if allow that...some games have LBA protection)
3.No,with internal hdd you don't need to derangement it(you can't anyway...as far as I know, there is no such thing)and yes defragmenting the drive is only for USB
4.Yes,just shrunk it and install it(I prefer to try the game on pcsx2 first...and maybe even over SMB before installing it because you can't tell otherwise if the shrinking process went well) and no,you don't need to do anything else to the ISO
