Exit to disc via app? And apps list sorting
Exit to disc via app? And apps list sorting –
As far as I know, OPL doesn't have an option to exit by booting a PS2 game disc. To work around that I've put uLaunchElf in my OPL Apps list. I run uLE then select start PS2 disc from there.
Hopefully a future OPL version will have an option to boot from disc. But in the mean time, is there a simple tiny program which just boots the game CD/DVD? I could add that to my OPL apps list.
Also, I have OPL set to sort the list of games. But it also sorts the list of apps, which I don't necessarily want. (I'd like the most-used apps to be near the top of the list.) Is there any way to tell OPL to keep sorting the game list, but to not sort the apps list?
The OPL exit function does something like reset and from there if there is a disk in the tray, the PS2 will try to boot it(I think...I've never actually tried that but I kinda doubt it won't work)
And no,OPL doesn't sort devices differently, the sorting option is global for all devices and the last started apply only to games, not the APPS
You can sort the apps by adding digits to the names in the apps cfg file
If you want program, you can use the CB_launch.elf which actually do the same as the exit menu

Yeah OPL's built-in exit would normally work, but I'm booting from memory card with OPL loading immediately. So unless I remove the memory card before exiting OPL, OPL just loads again after the console resets.
