Dragon Quest VIII freezin' after escaping from pandemonium on USB (0.8 and 0.8 rev 590)

Hi all,
I managed to run Dragon Quest VIII on my BC PS3 but after the pandemonium escape, game freezes and I can't finish it ..
I tried all modes ..
Is there anyone who ran the whole game with a previous loader ??

wich brand of dvd's you used to burn the game? or is it an original disc?

It is neither of both!

First off,... Afaik it is still not possible to run burned PS2-Backups on BC PS3s, without the 'switch-mod'.
Second,... He uses 'Open PS2 Loader', which is an ISO/Game-Loader.
Third,... He clearly states, that he is playing from USB.

I didn't burn it, I used openps2loader, tried with an iso image, and tried also with a copy with usbutils

Simple question then, anyone managed to go through the whole with openps2loader ?
i checked the compatibility list and saw a issue like mine over smb which said it was freezing after the neos fight, which is very close in game from my freezin time ..

i'm gonna try one last thing, transfer with usbutils patchin' IOPREP, but I'm not very hopeful about it ..

it could be your usb stick that's not good enough then :\ try a diferent one and see what you get...

i had the same problem on my ps2 slim, when running games on a usb stick, used a sony one and no more problems

Ok guys,
IOPREP didn't work, changed stick, didn't work too ..

I'm gonna try with older versions like OPL 0.5 ..

but it only freezes there? have u tried downloading another version of the game? (but keep in mind to download the same region lol or your save won't work :P)

Tried with another iso, no way .. still the same ..
Seems like it's the same issue as described on SMB

I'll wait for a CFW which adds ps2 hard disk compatibility, hopin this game works ..
