Do I need PS2 Dev Toolchain?

I get this error doing the final step:

$ git clone git://github.com/ps2dev/ps2toolchain.git
$ cd ps2toolchain/
$ sudo ./toolchain-sudo.sh

Doing what you explain, lib files are installed for me at i386-linux-gnu.
Which files do I should move from there to /usr/lib ?

Yeah, I tried loki7777 but I didn't work. I'm talking about the actual Ubuntu, not the .rar password. But I don't need it anymore, I just had trouble compiling something but I figured it out.

Just another head's up for curious minds ...

The recently released Linux Mint 14 (using the 32-bit Cinnamon spin here) compiles the PS2DEV environment without issue using doctorxyz's modified script provided you take a few precautions ...

1) manually edit your .profile to include the environment variables and source it before running the script.

2) after OPL compiles fine from running the install-opl script, but subsequent rebuilds throw an error with make, source your .profile again ...

It's been a while since i last used yoshi314's minips2dev. So i decided to update it. So far no problem i type as usual ./update.sh and then the problem occurs ...

wget: bad adress 'dl.dropbox.com'
wget: bad adress 'dl.dropbox.com'
error : failed to grab filelist

So i checked the page/file which is reffered to in the update-script and the browser gives me a 404 file not found.

Is there any alternate script which i can use to update the vm ?
This vm always worked perfectly on my machines so i don't want to switch to another vm or install ps2sdk directly since i constantly changing things on these machines.

Thanks in advance for any hints or solutions to this problem.
