Try this script it should help. You don't have to uncomment VMC = 1

Is how all good gaming systems came to be
Nice! I had been doing each step manually, I just hadn't gotten quite comfortable enough with working in linux to try writing it into a script.

That seemed to work, but I am not above having someone double-check.
sudo mkdir /mnt/pendrive
sudo mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/pendrive
cp /mnt/pendrive/OPL-crazyc.sh OPL-crazyc.sh
edit: Just as well that I asked, I can see the file under tc@box: but when I try to run it it says file not found. What did i miss?
do you have any errors when shutting down the VM ?

i'll test it on a different pc today. it also could be that virtualbox version you are using has some problems (vm was created on whatever virtualbox was newest at 2010.06.25), and i tested it with updates on 3.2.8.
edit: i altered the update script to remove polo's branch - it's not developed atm, and crazyc's branch contains polo's branch.
check if that helps.
edit2 : i tested on a different machine and i have no problems. it could be due to extra installed apps you might have on your vm's.
check your free space with
and look for hda1 there.
in any case, try starting up original vm from the first post, and updating it. that's what i did.
edit3 : if somebody is still having issues, i'll put up an entire vm with current updates.

that is puzzling. what is the exact version of virtualbox you are using? perhaps the disk image is somehow write protected?
edit: ok, for those having issues with update script not saving changes, here is complete vm with current changes
I'm using 3.2.6 r63112

Thanks for your help yoshi!
I am also and still getting the same problem, not saving when rebooting or shutting down.
- checked if the file is write protected
- re-downloaded the source file
- changing the settings in VM virtual box
I attached my virtual box settings, just in case. (I am using version 3.2.8 r64453)
I going to try the new vm image and see if it still has the problem.
BTW what operating system are you guys using?
I am using Windows 7 Ultimate
nope, fixed my liitle prob but still not working...
I'm using XP SP3, just wondering which version of VirtualBox yoshi314 is running?
Yay I have good news, finally fixed the problem (you need to clone the image file that yoshi uploaded). Seems like the export function in Virtual Box is broken or something, the image created by yoshi with VirtualBox don't have write access.
To fix it, follow these steps :
1. release your image file (100m_1.vmdk) in Virtual Box, File -> Virtual Media Manager..
2. Run the following command in Windows (windows button + r)
c:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox\VBoxManage.exe clonehd "<source image file>" "<target image file>" -format VDI
<source image file> : for example d:\PS2Loader\100m_1.vmdk
<target image file> : for example d:\PS2Loader\100m_1.vdi
If you installed VirtualBox to another drive or directory the above command to VBoxManage will be different. For example c:\VirtualBox\VBoxManage.exe
When cloning is done, add this new cloned image to you Virtual Media Manager and everything should work fine.
Thanks for all the help!
@Elseno; still not working did everything you said about cloning the image, even updated my virtual box to the rev you're using.
Gonna try the latest build from yoshi314 now...
