Does OPL support iso in HDD?

I know OPL supports iso in SMB mode. I am just wondering if OPL supports iso in HDD mode? The reason why I ask this is because I have a fat console with internal HDD and don't want to waste this wonderful component.

all you would have to do is install the game the same way you would for hdl

Is there a way of skipping HDL process? Can I just copy the iso from pc to ps2 HDD and play via OPL?

Why do you even care about it?
You must copy/install it to this HD either way and the PS2 has a specific format for internal usage, so you can't use that HD in a PC if it is formatted that way.
