Does the Open PS2 Loader ethernet driver support 10Mbps networks?
I've got an old 10Mbps ethernet hub hooked up to my PS2 (SCPH-77003), NAS and PC. (I want to use Wireshark to capture network traffic between PS2 and NAS to find the cause of the problem I mentioned in this thread.)
But Open PS2 Loader 0.9 doesn't work when the PS2 is connected to the hub. It can't connect to the NAS and gives an error message after a while. The hub link/act LED for the port which the PS2 is connected to flashes continuously (and the "partition" LED is lit).
The hub itself works fine; I can connect to the NAS using my PC though the hub.
Has anyone successfully used OPL on a 10Mbps network? I'm wondering whether the ethernet driver in OPL only works at 100Mbps, and fails to fall back to 10Mbps when necessary. I guess OPL uses the ethernet driver from PS2SDK, so maybe other PS2 programs also fail with 10Mbps networks?
