Like the expansion disc for the Dynasty Warriors series to unlock previous content requires the original disc(even though all data is on the expansion disc). Is there any way to put both elfs or however it is check in a single image to make the game think the original disc is in there? Sorry my mind hurts, 36 hour shift.

Apparently putting both elfs doesn't work btw...

This is clearly a game hacking issue having nothing directly to do with OPL as such, even if it does imply that game expansions of this kind might not work with OPL.

Most likely the expansion disc performs special tests to verify not only access to specific elf files but also to verify that you really have the proper original disc. This would be an obvious form of anti-piracy protection measure.

If it is at all possible to 'mix' both disc contents onto a single disc you will probably have to use very special means to trick the various disc test routines so that some of them accept this as being a valid expansion disc, while others of them accept the same disc as being a valid original disc.

I do not see any generic solution for such multi-disc problems.
They will need to be solved, if at all, by individual game hacks.

    Best regards: dlanor
