    is the partion on my ps2 HD called 'HDL' the settings? i have a problem, my HDD is 500gb, but when i use HDL to play games is only recognizes 127gb of my drive even though i have more games installed....i dont know what to do about this problem and deleting the HDL partition would work maybe? does any one have any advice for me? will this problem go away if i switch to OPL? thank you all

    Yes it will probably go away with OPL but depends on if you formated your Hard drive to 28 bit if so you will have to start over and format it to 48 bit
    Other possibility is that you have older HDL that is 28 bit if so look around for patcher to make HDL 48 bit

    You need 48 bit format or HDL 48 bit or both to utilize the full 500G of space
