Cut scene problems
Cut scene problems –

I do apologise if my problem has already come the the forums attention and been solved, If it has been solved then please quote the link in a reply so i may read, thus saving everyone from comments.
When ever I load a game from external HDD in OPL the games run flawlessly, I just seem to have a slight problem with the cinematics (cut scenes), they always tend to freeze or get stuck and it takes a very long time for them to finish, For example: with Hit And Run, when you start a new game and see homer sitting on the sofa, it gets stuck at Krusty being on T.V and I have to put up with 5 minutes of "Hey hey, Hey hey" before the game starts playing the tutorial.
This issue happens with almost any game i play, Everything is fine while the game is being played, its only the cinematics that have problems.
Anyone have advise on how to fix/stop the problem.
Thanks guys (Y)

Thatīs cause PS2īs USB is 1.0. You canīt solve it....

SMB = SAMBA (Network-protocoll). With SMB you can stream games from PC to PS2, itīs faster than USB but some cutscenes stutter too....
Internal HDD = if you have a phat PS2 till SCPH-5000x then you can conect a HDD behind in the expansion slot with an Network-Adapter. Or on a PS2 v12 only with HD-combo.
On internal HDD it plays without stuttering and speed of loading is much faster than DVD....

And just for info, SAMBA is the linux implementation of the CIFS protocol, which is ... the default sharing protocol of windows.
So it means, if you have a slim, you just need to plug a cable between it and your PC, share a directory with your ISO games on the PC, do some configuration (that hard point it seems, if you're not a techie) and you're done ...
