Quick check, what is the size of your ul.cfg in PS2SMB ?
?? I'm missed right know. Do i have to install the games with any of those programs to use them via network?
I don't have any ul.cfg file.

I don't know if this is on the same place like on XP but:
Control Panel=>Folder Options=>View=>Use simple file sharing(enable it)
Then unshare and share the folder again.
I will try it but i think that i'm not doing what Gilgamesh88 says. Ouch.

Yes that's your problem, you have to convert the images before using them on OPL

Ok, i convert the game using usbutils, and my ul.cfg sizes is 1KB. But still don't work. Do i have to do something else?

You need to use the USBUtil 2.0 app to "install" the games from an ISO into the directory you are going to use as the share.
Your games will be split into 1GB files and a ul.cfg file is created with the info of those split files and will be used by OPL to list the games.
So you should see something like:
ul.0CD04BBB.SLUS_209.13.00
ul.0CD04BBB.SLUS_209.13.01
ul.0CD04BBB.SLUS_209.13.02
ul.cfg
This is an example of 1 game you might have in your shared folder, with the sharename of PS2SMB, making sure its the sharename, not the folder name.
You can use any name for the folder, as thats not important, but the sharename is.
Only 1 ul.cfg can be used per folder, but you can have as many games as you want, but must be 'installed' to be listed in that ul.cfg file.

Yes, that is what i do. I "install" the game in the shared folder and i have 4 files splitted and the ul.cfg in the same folder. My sharename is the same as folders name.
As i understand the PS2SMB sharename is only an example, isn't it?
If it's all ok, i don't know which could be the problem. I change the port aswell and nothing. The firewall is off, the ftp works well and the ping between both is correct. Is the first time that Vista makes me crazy :S

PS2SMB is the default sharename set in OPL's configurations, so if your not using that name, then you MUST make sure it is changed in the OPL's Settings to match the one your using on your PC. They must be exactly the same...case sensitive.
I dont use Vista, so i cant help on that part and nobody has given any specifics on what to do, so i have limited info in the Guides on Vista....sorry.

I had the hardest time trying to get my network setup right with my vista computer so OPL would find my games. I double checked and then triple checked all the settings and all was correct. I created the "PS2SMB" folder within the "Documents" folder and then I tried it in the "C:" folder. Neither worked. I finally got OPL to detect my games when I put the "PS2SMB" folder within the "Public" folder. I have no idea why that fixed my problem but it did.

If one of you Vista users could write up a little tutorial, i can add it to the Guides for others to follow. It would be most appreciated.

Here's what I did for Vista.
1. Create a new folder for your games within the “Public” folder, name it whatever you want.
2. Right click the newly created folder, then go to "Properties", then click the "Sharing" tab.
3. Click on "Advanced Sharing".
4. Check mark the "Share this folder" option.
5. Create a share name, anything you want, just make sure you use the same name in OPL’s Settings.
6. Click "Apply", then "OK", then "Close" the Properties window.
This worked for me. Hopefully this helps anyone else having trouble loading games via SMB on Vista.
