Hi to all,
i have a problem connecting the PS2 to PC. I use a crossover wire and i configure all the IPs and all the stuf but the PS2Loader never shows any game that i have shared. The connection is done because a can do ping to the PS2 and i get response. I don't know what to do.
I use Windows Vista SP2.
Thank you, and great job.

i'd double-check all the settings. especially the share name (might be case-sensitive). also, check whether your firewall does not block directory sharing on your pc.
btw, try running ulaunchelf on your ps2 and using MISC/Ps2network (don't remember the exact name) - your ps2 should start working as ftp server. test whether you can connect from your pc.

The share name is the same. The firewall is desactivated.
I can see the folders of my ps2 via ftp but when i want to enter to one, it gives me an error.
EDIT: The ftp problem is solved, it was a firefox problem. Now with filezilla i can see the files of mc and the mass. But still i can't see the shared folder in ps2loader :S

Do you have password protected sharing turned on in your pc's network settings? I did on Windows 7 when I first used OPL, could not see my games but when turned off they become available.

No, is turned off. It works but i can't see any games. I know it works because when i'm connected with open ps2 loader and i want to unshare the folder, windows says that it's in use.

Asahy are you using simple file sharing?
When you give Properties on the shared folder,do you have Security Tab above(I've never used Vista)

But you did not say how you installed your games ? Which utility you used (usbutils, usbadvance, iso2usbld, ...) ?
Quick check, what is the size of your ul.cfg in PS2SMB ?

Add Everyone or delete that folder,create new one,rename it and add Everyone.
I don't know if this is on the same place like on XP but:
Control Panel=>Folder Options=>View=>Use simple file sharing(enable it)
Then unshare and share the folder again.
