    App:
PATCHEDCB9.3.ELF (attached CB_launch.elf) (Codebreaker ELF version)
    OpenUsbLd_USBA or OpenUsbLd

Copy PATCHEDCB9.3.ELF to mc0:/BOOT/ or USB storage
Rename OpenUsbLd_USBA or OpenUsbLd as CB_launch.elf and copy to mc0:/BOOT/
Then run PATCHEDCB9.3.ELF and use or add your codebreaker code as normal and START game.
Once the OpenUsbLd_USBA or OpenUsbLd screen appears, you can play your game of codebreaker with USB HDD .
I used a mp3 card to load a game "Pacman Fever". Run PATCHEDCB9.3.ELF, choose code then START. It goes back to UlaunchELF and I run CB_launch and it goes to OpenUsbLd_USBA screen. I choose the game and play it. It works, I get maximum token 999.
Remark : If you use slim PS2, you need to plug out the usb device after you run the PATCHEDCB9.3.ELF and plug in again when the OpenUsbLd_USBA or OpenUsbLd screen appears, otherwise it will be blackscreen.
Thanks to those who paied efforts on PATCHEDCB9.3.ELF, OpenUsbLd_USBA ,OpenUsbLd.

    Amend the method :
Use CB_launch.ELF to rename as BOOT.ELF and put under the BOOT folder.
It goes to OpenUsbLd screen directly afer entering codes and START GAME.

This is funny you posted this, as I was just testing the last few days on getting codebreaker to work with USBAdvance.
I figured there had to be a way.

I then tried the Open USBloader beta 4 and my game actually loaded.
I just wasn't sure at first the cheats were working.

I agree I give thanks to Ifcaro and all those who worked on these USB loaders.

Ok so earlier I had tried CB9.2 and I wasn't sure if the codes were working. So I had time here later to check out CB 9.3 and yes it worked on 'PS2 The Getway'

This is just freaking fantastic. I remember years ago purchasing USBExtreme and using it, then I only got back into it recently again with the release of new tools for USB games etc.
I mean I don't need cheats on all my games, but is nice sometimes to have them or be able too use them.

Furthermore, OpenUsbld also supports GS Mode Selector and HDTV Player !

or you could just use codebreaker patched to load hdloader and have the usbld.elf as your boot.elf heh.

I always just use the CB_launch.elf that jimmikaelkael made that's posted in the 'codebreaker patched to hdloader'
Then I can choose what I want from the fmcb menu.

That's the way I do it bro. That way you are able to choose like you said whether a game in the tray, or from HDL. DJ

OK, finally, I use CB_launch.ELF to rename as BOOT.ELF and put under the BOOT folder.
It goes to OpenUsbLd screen directly afer running PATCHEDCB9.3.ELF.

For you, this procedure is correct?

    i have ulaunch in dev1 (boot.elf in MC0)

    1 start CB patched v9.3

    2 insert code

    3 return to ulanunch.elf (boot.elf)

4 run HD Loader (renamed in CB_launch.elf)

    5 Select game.
    PSP Fat v1004 + CFw v5.50 GenD3 Prometheus v4.
    Ps2 Fat v5 PAL + Matrix Infinity v1.93 + Maxtor 160Gb + N.A + Mc 64Mb Datel + Ulaunchelf v4.42 + HdLoader v0.8c 48bit + Logitech Precision Cordless.
    PS3 Slim + HD 120Gb + CFw v4.20 2.03 Rogero.

If you use CB_launch.elf renamed as BOOT.ELF, step 3 and 4 will be skipped directly and go to Openusbld screen to select game.
But you need to rename your ulanunch.elf to another name in stead of BOOT.ELF.

    Edit :

"4 run HD Loader (renamed in CB_launch.elf)"
My post is talking about USBA (OpenUsbLd_USBA or OpenUsbLd), NOT HD Loader, I am afraid you misunderstood !

if you have free mc boot installed, you can have codebreaker loop back to it's menu so you can launch your game from

    1. retail disc
    2. esr disc
    3. HDL/HDA
    4. USB Advance or it's open versions.

no need to do the convoluted methods you all suggest.
