since I make to leave the game and to choose another one, without having to reinitiate the PS2

There is an option to do that, IGR. You need to place a copy of OPL (rename to BOOT.ELF) and place it in the APPS folder on mC, then choose the mc0:/APPS/BOOT.ELF option in Exit to: in the settings screen.
Now when you press the IGR combo buttons during a game, it will reboot OPL.

thanks, I try with IGR.....
Btw.: I guess, the is still the issue that some games do not work properly after an IGRing' out of the game directly to OPL.
Better would be to jump to the Browser thought.
Yes. Apparently this leads to partly incomplete system re-init after the game.
My own preference is to have IGR launch a special instance of uLE, which has its own local CNF file that causes it to auto-launch OPL. The system init of uLE before making that auto-launch apparently fixes the problem.Better would be to jump to the Browser thought.
What I've done is to create an extra folder named "APPS" on the MC, and in that folder I have stored an extra copy of the uLE "BOOT.ELF" and a local "LAUNCHELF.CNF" for it. Apart from those files that folder only contains the usual "icon.sys" and "icon.icn" files that I added to avoid a 'corrupt' display in the Sony browser.
In OPL I have configured the "Exit to" choice to use "mc0:/APPS/BOOT.ELF", so that the IGR exit will relaunch this extra copy of uLE which then restarts OPL. The only unwanted side effect of this is that I'd have no way of exiting OPL normally without such restart of OPL, but that is easily fixed two ways.
1: Even when uLE is set to auto-launch another program with zero delay, it always checks the gamepad entry once before auto-launching, and if any button is held down the auto-launch is canceled.
2: In my OPL folder on MC I have a file named "conf_apps.cfg" which among other entries contains one line with the text "uLaunchELF=mc0:/BOOT/BOOT.ELF", which adds the normal uLE instance to the APPS list of OPL, so I can start the normal uLE without using the 'Exit' command.
Best regards: dlanor
Yes, this would work also.
I just mentioned jumping back to Browser as an/one example, because obviously the issue isn't fixed till now and jumping back to another application/instance where a re-init is performed 'helps'.
